MILFORD, CT — A $2 million renovation project was recently completed at Pent Park in Milford. Three other office buildings on the property will be demolished and more than 500 apartments will be built.

The renovation project was by Upscale Construction, a general contractor, and involves one of the site's five office buildings. The renovation "introduced a host of premium amenities tailored to modern tenants' needs," according to the contractor. The building now includes a gym, saunas, modernized bathrooms, game rooms, a cafe, and an updated lobby.

“This project reflects our vision for creating spaces that inspire and elevate communities,” David Marasow, co-owner of Upscale Construction, said. “We are proud to collaborate with the property owners on such a transformative initiative and excited to see how these changes contribute to Milford’s growth and development."

The renovations aim to increase leasing activity at the office buildings while also preparing for the property's redevelopment. Three office buildings at the site will be demolished to make way for 514 apartments.

Marasow said that the apartment project is in its second phase and has received zoning approval. "I don't yet have a timeline or details as we're waiting for funding and construction plans," he said.

The mixed-use strategy for the property is expected to create economic and social benefits for the area while serving as a "landmark destination" in Milford, according to the contractor. Pent Park is a 50-acre campus on Wheelers Farm Road between I-95 and the Merritt Parkway. A LoopNet listing for office space leasing at the property says that it is "easily accessible and boasts a modern aesthetic that is highly visible to over 50,000 vehicles passing by each day."
